All of my females have been free whelpers but Lily is so small that I am just praying my heart out that it is a false pregnancy or maybe she is just putting on a little weight. Funny place to put it on if that is what is happening. Sylvia

A false pregnancy will last about the same time a real pregnancy would for them, you just have to let it run its course. I really don't think there is much you can do for them other than comfort them and make sure she is still eating good.
Since you aren't completely sure whether it is a false pregnancy or not I would be prepared for puppies just in case, it is always better to be prepared. |
