 Knotted Hair from Rolling around
So when my Momo got spayed a week ago the vet told me not too bath her or have her groomed for a week (obviously) well to combat her itchy healing incision and skin all this week Momo rolled all over our carpet. Momo has the very fin cotton candy kind of coat so this resulted in turning most of her coat into what I can only describe as dread locks and total knots. I cannot brush them out with her regular brushes. I am going to take her to the groomers in a couple of days and fear that they are going to tell me they can't de-matt her, I've been growing her out with lots of luck from a time just five months ago when they had to shave her and I really don't want to shave her short again. Any suggestions for what to tell the groomers or for something I can do to help de-tangle her before I get there? |
