Controversy is an understatement!
I have both...as you can see my 2 yorkies look very different from each other and my biewer looks different from both the yorkies.
They also have very different personalities...But I wouldn't ever put a blanket statement on the breed. They are individual souls and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I just hope there will be fewer unethical breeders of biewers as people become more educated... I guess it is good to have a dream.
I will tell you it takes some fortitude to be able to deal with people who make disparaging remarks... people who know nothing of Biewers who argue that it is a mixed breed...Vets & Vet Techs who think they know everything... and people who are just downright rude about commenting how what kind of dog a person owns.
I love my babies...all of them...for their quirks, faults and unconditional love back. I am very lucky!
