My puppy also bites quite a bit so I can't help with that one...BUT she is great about going to bed. When it is bedtime, she knows it and is usually already asleep when I go to bed. I don't crate her during the day, but I do keep her closed off in a room. When I get home, I try to play with her A LOT! She loves playing fetch so I just play as long as possible, plus she loves playing with my cat so that tires her out also! She literally sleeps from the time I go to bed, till about 7am - when I get a licks all over my face - meaning she has to go to the bathroom.
Also, when I leave for the day, I leave the TV on for her...that might help
