Default Bonnie and Clyde!!

Tia has a best dog friend: Ruby, a 6 year old Bichon. Whenever I get together with my friend, these two come up with the craziest schemes, and Tia seems to be the mastermind behind all of them...

#1 I had a plate of chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (homebaked!) on the coffee table. I notice that Ruby can almost reach the plate with her nose, so I move the plate out of her reach. I go to another room with my friend and when we come back, the cookies are all gone! The only evidence is the napkin that was beteen the cookies and the plate is now on Tia's daybed. Ruby must've reached the paper, pulled them down and they went to town! They each vomited a couple of times that night, but other wise they were ok.

#2 At my friends house, there is "the forbidden room" (with the nice carpet no one is allowed to walk on). Tia LOVES to go potty there, so we keep a pretty good eye on her. One time, we were sitting at the kitchen table, Ruby jumped on a chair and then ONTO the table (something she NEVER does!) I look for Tia just in time to see the end of her tail as she rounds the corner into the "forbidden room"! I can just picture Tia instructing Ruby to cause a distraction so she can go ahead with her plan.

#3 At my place, Tia and Ruby were taking turns at the one bully stick I had, each getting frustrated when the other had it. Tia went to the patio door, made the little gurgling sound she mke ONLY when she needs to go out to potty. I ask my friend to get the door cause she was closer. Upon hearing the door open, Ruby races out for a chance to go outside and Tia bolts under the kitchen table to get the bully stick. It was a ruse and Ruby fell for it!

I swear...Tia is super smart (and manipulative!)

Anybody else have a yorkie that seems to outrun, outwit and outsmart other people and dogs? I'd love to hear your stories!
