Well, that's what I was sort of afraid of too! The only other thing I know to try is to do it like I have given dogs liquid medicine in the past... put is in a spoon and pour between the teeth with mouth held shut so they have to swallow. But that's only for one spoonful. So that seems like it would have take several times and even more prolonged stress.
Looking forward to seeing if anyone else has any tips.
