i havent bought any charms for my new yorkie yet. before my yorkie i had two pitbulls that had charms, they were rhinestone slide letters with their names across the collar, my cats have those collars also. i bought the slide charms because i was scared they'd break off any dangling charms.
i think charms add some personal style to a pet, kinda like a signature.
