Honey I'm not gonna yell at U, I have 1 now that is 10 months old Sage and she is so so smart and so so stubbern!!! She is still potting in her crate and will not go on puppy pads out in the room, Sat morning I thought I would out smart her and sit in the room till she finally gave up and pottied well she got the best of me after 4 hours yes I said 4 hours of waiting I said that's it, put her in her crate with a puppy pad sure she pottied on it but also tore the thing all apart!!! I ended up putting her one of our carriers at night and she "Most of the time" won't potty in there, she is in her 1st heat and I'm wondering if maybe her being so head strong has something to so with her 1st heat??? But we're still working on it, now I have 2-8 month olds and they are great at not potting in their crates!! So I think it's just the temperment of our Yorkies that we have to learn to deal with and try to outsmart them. Try crating at night if that don't work try a carrier, the smaller the area the less likely they are to potty...That is on most! LOL! Hope this will help U and U're not alone on this matter!! Hugs, Lee
