It has happened.. I am a softy.. I have got to slow down though to be honest cause I have donated.. I have cried and been emotional and it has affected me in my everyday normal life...
I finally had to sit back and think of it like this...
My hubby and I are both licensed in the state of Texas for foster children. We did it for 1 year and I doubt we will ever do it again...
We have to get in our minds that we can not save the world .. We can give advice and we can help and that is about it.. None of us have the money to keep donating to different rescuses every month so my hubby and I have decided on a amount that we will donate and we are sticking to that I can not go over and beyond like I have been doing ... My poor bills will be neglected then....
We also can NOT be the determining factor of what a parent will do with their dog...UNFORTUNATELY.. I know everyone of us on here want each person to take OUR INDIVIDUAL ADVICE.. It is not going to happen ... We can sway a decision and they can choose to go with it or not...
I have done this .. I have said to myself.. I am doing all I know to do for this family and this dog and now GOD it is up to you...
It hurts when I feel like I have spun my wheels and took time away from my family and have talked hours on end WITH NO RESULT and trust me it has happened and to that I say:
I have planted a seed now someone can come and water it...
Hugs
I hope this helps
