My mom is one of those that is prone to getting them. She ALWAYS gets them behind her ears and on the inside of her thigh. Normally she keeps hot compresses on them and they end of either popping and draining themselves (I know, gross) or they just dissipate. But last month she had a monster on the inside of her thigh!

It was like 5 in. in diameter, and she had to get it lanced. Hers turned into an absest and was all infected. She tried too hard with the hot compresses because she didn't want to get it lanced, and it got REAL bad.
You're very lucky that you get to go see a plastic surgeon. Like everyone else said, you have a good doctor and you have nothing to worry about!
