Call me a skeptic, but I never believe the pics they show on their web site are the puppies you actually get. When I got Joey, the breeder told me that if you get two at the same time, they bond with each other more than you. She suggested waiting several years because a new puppy can bring life back into an older dog. Another thing to consider is vet expenses, if one or both puppies have a problem. I think it's wise to have a couple thousand set aside for emergencies. Potty training is even harder for two, you don't know which of them is causing the trouble, and puppies learn much faster when an adult dog shows them where to go. I know it's so tempting though! |
