Those 4 number programmable phones really are a good thing. My 10 year old nephew has one. They've programmed just the numbers he needs like home, mom's cell, dad's cell, and grandparents. It's nice that he has a phone with him in case he needs to get ahold of somebody but it's reassuring to know that he can't abuse the privileges. My 15 year old niece has a regular cell phone but she pays the bill herself so she's learned the hard way to not go over her limit.
