For example, Olivia came home and said she wanted to take a turkey sandwich in her lunch because her little friend at school always brings a turkey sandwich in her lunch. Well, there is a veggie version of turkey slices so she was able to do that.

For Christmas my family always makes a huge pot of spaghetti. Well, I make our spaghetti (with soy crumbles instead of ground beef and sausage) beforehand and take it with us. That way the kids still get to eat normal looking spaghetti right along with their cousins.

So there you have my reasons for including the fake meat products in my diet. Plus, this veggie bacon and tomato sandwich is super good! Did I mention that? lol

I use the soy crumbles for tacos and it's an easy meal that the vegetarians and the meats eaters in my family will eat. I grew up with an egg and sausage casserole being our traditional Christmas breakfast. Now I make it with soy sausage and everyone's happy. Fake meat is a very good thing sometimes.
