I have bells hanging on the door he usually goes out of. The problem is, we are not near them when he is in the living room with us. Should I walk over and ring them before I ask him if he has to go out? I tried to get him to ring them, or touch them, before I open the door, but he is not picking that part up (our cat did though
). I'll have to train him to do this too.
