Sncikers started marking outside at 10 weeks. I have never had any problems with him marking inside of my house or any one elses house. When we visit a friend I always show snickers where the potty door is. Then I will ask him to sit and ask him if he has to go potty. He will bark and then I will let him out. By doing that he knows where to sit to let me know he has to go out. Both my male dogs mark out side in my yard. Not allowed when we go on walks I don't give them a chance to stop and sniff. Snickers is now a little over 10 months old and has been potty trained since he was 4 months and has run of the house even when we are not home. He knows where it is acceptable to lift his leg.
