Default Hypothetical Q, *If your furbabies sleep in your bed*

I FINALLY got my belly pierced last week, I've been wanting it since HS but have never got the nerve to do it, but my fiance was getting tattooed last week so I decided to go ahead and do it! The guy told me I shouldn't have my pets sleep in my bed right away because their dander could irritate the piercing site. Well there's no way I could make my babies sleep on the floor, I think it would be kinda mean because they would have no idea why, since they always sleep on my bed. I asked the guy if I tuck my shirt in so my belly is covered if it would be o.k and he said yeah as long as I leave it loose so it doesn't push the piercing. And since Leo got tattoos on both of his arms, we didn't want Rocky and Bella scratching at them or anything, so I know it probably would've been best for our safety if they slept on their own beds, but there was no way I could do that.

So my question is, if your furbaby always sleeps in your bed and for whatever reason, you had surgery, injury, piercing they could bite at, etc, and you were adviced to not let them in the bed, would you still let them in the bed? I'm asking this because I'm sure theres more extreme cases then mine when furbabies shouldn't be on the bed, and I wanted to know what most people would do.
