I think we are getting all of your weather...we have had rain non-stop since late yesterday evening and today it is said to turn into freezing rain and then up to 5 inches of snow!!!

I can definately commiserate with you on this one. We live in a town that is known quite well for it's lush green lawns in the middle of summer when everyone else has brown hay, but we really pay for it too at this time of year. Our yard looks similar to yours, but the lake is in our basement.

In our basement, we have a spring that is somewhere underground and by the basement...and when it rains, sometimes it gets that spring over full and it will sometimes leak into the basement......which I do NOT know how it does that because the basement is wrapped in that thick tar plastic stuff..I feel your pain!!!
