I can't answer all of your questions, but will do the best with what I know. My yorkie is 4 1/2 months old. She does stairs great. It took her a little while to get the hang of it, but now there is no stopping her.

I personallly wouldn't give pedialyte. The only reason to give this is if they are getting dehydrated from vomiting or diarahea (sp?). This is not something I would give everyday.

Cricketts poop varies in size too. this is common. I wouldn't worry unless it gets really runny.

I use Frontline plus for fleas and ticks. Just because he doesn't have fleas now, doesn't mean he will not get them later. Yes, I have seen yorkies with fleas. I groom dogs and any dog can get them.
