Kozanna had dissolvable stitches, so she didn't have to go back to have stitches removed. She had pain med for four days. She was spayed early afternoon and they said she ate her supper. She stayed over night and I picker her up the next morning. The vet said to let her do anything she felt like doing, but not wild romping or something that, of course. Kozanna is a puppy mill rescue and pretty quiet. I took her home and she played with her toys like nothing had happened, ate a little, and took a nap. She never even looked at the incision. If she had, I was prepared to put a onesie on her to keep her from bothring it. Since Tucker is a boy and all the surgery is on the outside, I think he'll bounce right back with no problem. Ask about pain meds, but they may think that he doesn't need it. These little ones are surprisingly tough! Good luck.
