Your Sammy's knees are going to be swollen and stiff for a while. Just be sure that none of the other dogs jump on her or try to play with her because it WILL HURT. You may have to crate her when you are not home to make sure she doesn't hurt herself. I hate crates -- so what I did for Codie's surgery the first time was I bought a cheap baby play pen at Walmart (for like 40 bucks) and I kept him in there when I wasn't home. They are a lot bigger than crates and Codie was safe in there. I threw it out after Codie was totally healed up. I'm going to have to buy another one before his surgery because it really was very helpful last time.

GOOD LUCK to Sammy!! Please let me know how she does. She is having BOTH legs done at the same time? Poor baby.
