I think telling them .."the Tootie opens up and out pops the baby" sounds good..cutting anything open would scare me if I was a child...I remember my kids clued into Yorkie births...sections and "tootie" extractions...Jodi said once after a pup popped out..."she "pooped a puppy"...!
