I had a chihuahua that was stung by a wasp somewhere around her mouth many, many long years ago. The only reaction she had was the swelling. Her little snout swelled so that she didn't look like herself for awhile. But she did fine after awhile. She got extra attention and much babying and little ice packs placed around her mouth for little bits of time. I hope your little one is OK. I wonder if your baby picked one up from the ground. Did you see it happen? We have a wisteria vine and the bees are always out there. Even though it is outside her fenced-in yard, I see them sometimes fall into the grass before they die. A couple of years ago Muffin and I were walking in the big yard and shes stepped on one in the grass and it just barely got her. It was not even enough to effect her after a day.
