Kinda a spur of the moment idea, hubby says, let's go away for the weekend! So we decided to go to Brown County. It's very beautiful and we just love it their!

So we rented a cabin and off the family and I went! It's about a 3 hour trip, we took the ENTIRE Brat Pack, my 2 daughters and my daughters B/F.

We make it their, get the key and head off to find our cabin. Hubby is driving, we pass the cabin so he goes to back up. Their is a car behind us that is honking at us. Were not sure what he was honking at, he then drives beside us and is waving at us, as hubby goes to put the window down to see what he wants, he backs up in a huge ditch! (see photos)
By this time I'm freaking out cause I have no idea how big this ditch is, Brown County is known for their huge drop offs, so all I can picture is our back end hanging off a cliff

LOL

So I'm like, "we need to get the crap out of this van right now" Well thank god it was not a cliff

lol but it is bad enough where we are stuck.

So we get into the cabin (van still in ditch) to call our insurance company cause we have road side asst. Ha! No phone in the cabin and no cell phone service! So hubby has to walk about a 1/2 mile down the road till he gets service. Finally a hour later the tow truck comes and pulls us out.

The rest of the weekend was beautiful, we had perfect weather and we had such a lovely time! The Brats were so good! I can not believe how good they were! Only problem I had was on the way home, Kibble decides to chew on hubby's new book while we were at a pit stop and then Kibble pee'd on my pants on the way home! HaHaHa!

Other then that, they were perfect and loved the outdoors!
