I personally won't own a large dog since I have a yorkie. I just think you take a risk with ANY larger dog....they are just so much bigger and could accidentally hurt one of them by even stepping on them..and could really do some damage if they decide they want to hurt one. I'll just always have toy breeds (which I like the best anyway)...just not worth the risk to me
