It was the ER vet who I do not like, I could tell when he first treated Cali when she was a puppy that he did not like small dogs and pretty much has the attitude "what do you expect when you have small dogs" anyway he said to really limit her jumping and as far as the Lp he just said I am sure you know she has LP, which my vet mentioned when I got her. He didn't tell me what grade they were but in the medical records I got at discharge it said that ahe had Bilateral grade 4/4 medial luxating patellas. No one ever mentioned a grade to me before and she has never shown any signs of problems with her back legs. She is due for her heartworm check and I will talk to the vet.
