My breeder suggested that we not give any commercial treats until the pup reached 6 months of age. We did give cut up peeled baby carrot as a reward for come, sit, down. Remi, who is 1 1/2 years old now, still loves baby carrot and broccoli, as his favorite treats.
His favorite crunchy is liver biscotti. We also use natural/wellness small treats for training class.
We never use rawhides or greenies. |
