I have also tried applying but mine didnt' work out for a differant reason (they wanted to keep the little guy in the area of the rescue) so it didn't work out. But They do ask so many questions, and sometimes they are rather rude. I get frustrated like a pp said because the same dogs sit on the site for long periods of time. It makes me wonder if they just get so attatched that NO home is good enough.
