ive heard that when a dog eats his or her own poop they trying to wipe out their traces and what they mean by doing it is "i mean nothing, im just a little worm" i dont know if its true but in a way it did make sense to me.... also heard that feeding them yoghurt or tripe helps it.... ive experienced this when my lad was a small pup and giving her yoghurt daily as a "desert" and tripe once a week helped.
