I have a nephew that had three children, and they grew up with a yorkie.. teaching children respect of animals, and exposing a yorkie to children as often as possible would be a good idea.. the hard part is, having a yorkie you love and pamper and then having a baby, and like a second child the yorkie can be left out.. so there is just lots to think about. But it can be done.
