i think it is definitly do-able.. but it just might require extra attention on your part.. esp when the child is a toddler... toddlers... well... toddle ..lol.. and it is easy to fall on a small dog and cause serious damage... but you will be raising a child that is respectful of dogs and will know how to treat them
if you are very cautious i think it can be done
