Welcome! If your friends don't what financial burden i think they might another breed. What do I mean by this? Well we all look at the fun side when thinking about purchasing a pet but there are down sides too. When I bought Ruby she was $1300 pushing and over my budget. Well never thought she would get sick. She did two weeks after coming home final costs of vet visits , she now is worth about $3000-$4000 . So keep this in mind.
