I really tried for about three months to get a pup from a rescue. I am a firm believer that there are far to many animals out there that need homes. I also work with geyhounds and placement after they are done racing. I knew that I would have a little tougher time because of the Greys, but to only get one resonse in 3 months was a little hard to deal with. I got a very snippy e-mail back stating that they did not think I could offer a good home to a Yorkie due to the Greyhounds.
I know my dogs and I am deilgent in watching. I had no problem putting the new puppy in a crate for his own saftey while I work. But they didn't even give me any credit that I know my own dogs. So I ended up buying from a pet store. Got just what I wanted and he is a healthy wonderful HAPPY boy here!
