Oh, honey, me and hubby go through this all the time! I have medical bills that amount to more money than everything I own is worth. We're making payments and I'm looking for work to try to get things paid off earlier and save on some finance charges. Still, he wants to do things and get things - so we have learned to compromise. Yes, we can go out BUT I get to pick the place, yes, we can get new sheets BUT I get to choose how much we will spend for them. The key to any disagreement is COMPROMISE! Tell him you'd love to go out but you'd like to go somewhere else and pick a place that you think you can afford right now.
