I'm glad that you're seeing a plastic surgeon for this, you have a good doctor. If he had tried to remove it himself, you'd probably have a scar, but you can be darned sure that your scar from the PS should be unnoticeable after it's had time to heal. The most #1 important thing is to NOT let any sun get to it until it's 100% faded. UV rays will cause the scar to stay red permanently. Until it's all healed, keep a bandage over it and then when the surgeon says it's okay to put creams on it, get a super high spf and use it a few times a day. I've had a few plastic surgeries, that's how I know
