I would bring her out to VISIT, but keep her in a bed room for the most part. I would explain to the mother and the older child that one fall could kill or really hurt her. If she doesn't understand so be it.
I would hold Bella the whole time she was visiting... If you feel like you want the 9 year old to hold her than have her sit on the floor with you right there.... Never take your eyes off Bella or the toddler.
I have let young kids hold Chewy on their lap sittingon the floor... (Not really young kids but 7-8 year olds... They love Chewy but I stress before they ever come near to be so careful... They always have been...But then again I never TRUST THEM!
