My heart goes out to you both, as a parent it is so hard to watch our babies hurt like this. It will be difficult for her to believe this now or to understand because she is so upset, but she needs to understand that things will get better for her. Life is just this way, we go through bad times and good times. The key is to not allow yourself to be consumed with despair because both of these situations will pass, and she will be happy again. She'll find another job, a much more deserving of her love, boyfriend will come along and this painful time will be a distant memory.
