seems to me that your baby is still young.
my sophie is 3 months old and the housebreakiing isn't going to smoothly either.
luckily though, i am taking a semester off from college (not so luckily -- its because my brother is having health issues and i need to be able to fly up whenever they need me) so all my time is devoted to training sophie.

what is working for me right now is basically having the pads down in case i misread her singals, but taking her out very often. Sophie tends to get squirmy when she has to pee so that helps.

she does REALLY well with peeing outside,
but pooping is still quite difficult.
but it will take patience.
