 I feel so bad for my dtr
I met her for lunch after she got off work and she burst in to tears, she never cries, her employer sold the business and her last day will be April 1st. She worked in their house and made 15.00 an hour plus bonus when they were out of town and she ran the business. They were very flexible with her college schedule. I told her she will get another job maybe not making that salary but she doesn't have any bills, has a savings account and it is just her PT job 20 hours a week. I am really glad she has such a great work ethic but it makes me sad to see her so upset. I told her to take a month or 2 off, concentrate on her grades so she doesn't loose the instate tuition for to low of a grade point average and enjoy her self. She has worked since she was 16 and gone to school full time. She will graduate in December. |
