wow.. sounds like not quite the fun time you were expecting! Someone posted here a little while ago that a guy tried to steal her pup from her arms in the petsmart (or petco) parking lot... I really highly recommend to always always have your pup tethered to you, even if you are just running out for a minute.. its just safer that way!
