But no matter which method you use, I would put her in a light oil and make sure you take it down and brush it out daily to keep the tangles out...it is the tangles that are dangerous.
If she is having a small litter 1-3 puppies then you might be able to just oil it and leave it down, just make sure it stays tangle free. |
