With all due respect, there's a thing about generalized statements regarding "black people", "women"...or, in my case those living the "desert life" (whatever that means)....they usually end up offending people. I
know you probably didn't mean to offend, but there sure were a lot of judgmental statements in there about the "desert life" etcetera. I can assure you that we're not all a bunch of trashtastic hell raisin' crazies over here. Come to Phoenix and sit by my pool, and I promise you - I won't be serving you a sour soft serve or Malt Liquor.
And, I even bet I could show you one of the most gracious times of your life in Vegas - it all depends on where you go and how you do it. All big cities (including Madrid, btw, as I recall when I was there) have crime and hoodlums and dirt and grime - as well as elegance and grace and charm and culture - and I just love the whole MESS of it.
I will tell ya though - I hated Vegas the first time I went; it took a second time for me to *get* - and then I had a grand time!
