You are a full time student and work on top of that...How much are you home to train the pup? Is the majority of the training on your parents while you are gone or is the pup crated when you are not home? Since your dad is "traditional", could you possibly talk to your mom and ask her if she could do potty breaks every 15-20 minutes for you while you are gone?
