The key word...is most. Yorkies have single coat hair...not fur. The smaller they are the more suspectiable to the cold. Even my big girl, Ramsey (10 pounds) shivers if she's outside without a sweater or coat. Doesn't even have to be THAT cold....60 degrees...both mine have on sweaters.
