Seeing as yorkies have hair rather than fur they do feel the cold and heat. Imagine their body as having the same sensations as your head. If you feel the cold, then so do they. Most dogs have fur, with undercoats that keep them warm in the winter, and cooler in the summer, but yorkies have only hair. |
