Default Intro

Thought I'd take a minute and say hello.
My partner and I live in Hawthorne Nevada. I have only had pomeranians and keeshonds in the past. Used to show my pom but it got to be too much having to travel mostly to Calif for the shows. My champion, Billy sired his first litter and shortly after had a seizure and died. I kept Bruiser, son of Billy.
My partner has always wanted a yorkie and although I had NO interest I started looking for one for him. We found Zoe (Miss Zoe deLeon) who is just over 1 now and weighs just under 2 lbs. We had a few problems when she came to us. She would not eat! The first time she went hypoglycemic, I knew what was going on, gave her some kayro syrup and Chris rushed her to the vet. After that, I just bough some dextrose and syringes home and did the injections myself. Well, after watching her closely, it wasnt that she would not eat but couldnt. She has a terrible terrible underbit with "parrot mouth" and could not pick food up. She is not fine and has learned to eat with her "disability".
Well, while looking for Zoe, I came across "Little Bear" who is now Eli's Pogonip Dream and I decided that I deserved a new puppy as well. He is an absolute dream! He reminds me of a studious, bookworm teenager. He was named after Eli, a 5 year old I diagnosed and cared for with brain cancer until he died two January's ago. That January, we had a terrible pogonip frost - thus - Eli's Pogonip Dream - Pogo.
Hmmmm - Cammie - Well, the first dog that I was supposed to get instead of Zoe - the deal fell through. I got ripped off of my money and no dog. I filed huge numbers of complaints but finally we had bought Zoe. 9 mos later, we finally reached a settlement and basically it was take a different dog or loose our money so of course we took the dog. When the pup arrived, it was not even the replacement dog that we were supposed to be getting but what to do? - send a yorkie away? Nope, thats how we came to get Cammie - Camelot's Cookies and Cream.
Next came Willy - Camelot's Sir William Braveheart (named after Cammie and my champion Pom - Braveheart Billy BoJangles). Cammie came into heat and we really thought that we did a great job keeping Pogo away from her. Well, just three weeks ago, I felt her belly moving and just over a week ago, July 31st, here came Willy. You just cannot give up your first born! He'll be staying with us.
But wait - Willy can't be an only child! I came across Emma - a georgous little girl and I could not help myself! She will be flying form Oklahoma on the 2 of September - can't wait.
People here think we are crazy; Even I would say the same last year but as I've learned, Yorkies are the best! You just can't have enough. Someone said they could never have more than one dog because she only has "enough love for one" but if you could ask our yorkies (and Bruiser the pom) there is more than enough love for everyone. They are all so distinct in personality, they love each other, are so well mannered and loving!
