Here's a different take on it: I think the small Yorkie/"teacup" thing just mirrors the obsession in this country with women having to be emaciated/skin and bones to be considered beautiful. It's the same kind of crazy thinking that super-small is somehow better or more valuable. I have a "small" Yorkie and at one time prayed he would bulk up a bit for the sake of his health (he had a tough puppyhood because he was so tiny). Now that he's a little meatier (but still a shrimp!), I feel better. People are nuts!
