AMEN!!!! I also live in an area where there are ALOT of outside dogs, BUT... my lab sleeps INSIDE, in the bed with my daughter....
she does get "stir crazy" if she is kept inside too long. She has the "taj mahal" of a dog house in her fenced yard and loves to be outside when the weather is good.... I know many people personally who have "outside" dogs and they are VERY well cared for, loved, and so so happy!
