If it were me giving bad advice I would appreciate the correction. I only post on topics that I have experience in and something that may have worked for me may not be the best thing in somebody elses opinion.
If somebody has a question, giving them more than one option is sometimes a good thing.
As long as its posted in a nice tone I don't see much a problem. If you write something like "That was stupid advice" then expect to get some retaliation.
