I am actually going to do a few different things. Main thing is though on all of them I am my own boss. I am going to do mobile grooming. Go to peoples houses and groom for them that way. I have really built a clientel in the past few months so I think things should go well.
I am also going to start doing landscape design. I love gardening and working with plants and peoples yards. I already have a BA in Art. So I am going to take some basic plant knowledge classes at the tech school here. I have a close friend who runs a landscaping business and he said that when I am ready he has a job for me. He has been looking for a designer for awhile now. Alot of people are getting far more interested in landscaping than they used to.
And last but not least, I got asked by a former employer of mine if I would come back to work for her. I said no I wouldn't work for her but I would work through her and she would get a share of my profits since it would be her barn that I would be working out of. This is a little secret of mine that non of you know but I used to train horses. Show horses to be exact. I gave riding lessons and all that good stuff. So now I am going to do all the same stuff just for myself and 10% will go to the barn that I will be working out of. |
Like AQHA or a different type of horses. If it's AQHA I"m sure we'll know some people in common.
