I agree!..We do not feed puppy food to pregnant mom's for this same reason...I increase food about 25% the last two weeks by adding protein to their diet(chicken, eggs, etc.)...Our girls enjoy boiled chicken and broth added to their dry food...I also divide meals up into smaller portions throughout the day...Most mom's have little room to eat big meals with their growing tummies...
